This is the first book of a trilogy. Lizzie, Easterly's head gardener, and Tulane, the prodigal son of the bourbon dynasty, have a history that doesn't seem to let go easily. I thoroughly enjoyed this story! It is very different from her Black Dagger Brotherhood series but still has that spellbinding feel that keeps you up savoring each word. I had not finished the book before I was desperate for the next!
