Meeting to discuss the Strategic Plan prep documents.
This is an informal gathering where you can discuss what you are working on, what you are reading, where you are submitting your work, and more. This year, we've been working through Lisa Cron's Story Genius: How to Use Brain Science to Go Beyond Outlining and Write a Riveting Novel, and applying her ideas to our own works-in-progress.
The monthly meeting of the Friends of the Merrimack Public Library Executive Board. The Board will be meeting virtually over Zoom.
The Friends of the Merrimack Public Library (FMPL) is a group of volunteers interested in supporting, promoting and enhancing the services provided by our town library. They are a recognized 501C-3 charitable organization so member due and donations are tax-deductible.
Join us for our virtual TGIO - Thank Goodness It's Over event! We'll commiserate about our experience during November's National Novel Writing Month (when budding authors challenge themselves to write 50,000 words of the first draft of a novel in November), read brief selections of our NaNo work and generally celebrate another NaNo in the books!
At our January meeting, we'll read and discuss The Adaptation Advantage: Let Go, Learn Fast, and Thrive in the Future of Work by Heather E. McGowan and Chris Shipley (pub 2020). The discussion of this title is being rescheduled from our November 9 meeting by request.
The AARP Foundation Tax-Aides will be offering tax preparation assitance at the Merrimack Library each Monday from January 31st until April 11th.
