On December 31st, 1998, 88-year old Doris Haddock, known affectionately as "Granny D," set out on a walk across America in the name of national campaign finance reform. On Tuesday, April 14th, the library is proud to host the one-person re-enactment of Granny D's incredibly journey.
This program is made possible by the Granny D Legacy Committee. Granny D will be played by Dixie Tymitz, profressional actress, singer, and storyteller who, in another life, was also a humanitites and theatre teacher.
