The Town of Merrimack is accepting applications for the position of Part-Time Secretary in the General Government Department located in the Town Manager's office. The General Government Secretary works in a highly confidential office environment providing administrative support to the Town Manager and Human Resources Director and is often required to do several tasks expeditiously and concurrently. Performs regular duties on own initiative, exercising a high degree of judgment and tact. Work is often interrupted by telephone calls, visitors, inquiries from co-workers, etc. The individual must be able to handle demands for information with immediate response.

Starting wage expected to be $18.26 to $21.00 per hour, depending upon experience and qualifications. Hours of work are 8:30am to 2:00pm, M-F, but an alternate schedule may be considered at time of hire if mutually beneficial.
