Stormwater Foreman Wanted

The Storm Foreman is responsible for the supervision, inspection, and maintenance of public works stormwater infrastructure. The position works within the framework of established practices, MS4 requirements, Town subdivision regulations, public works construction standards, and department policies. Provides direct and close supervision of a crew of laborers, equipment operators, and semi-skilled workers in stormwater operations, winter maintenance operations, and other projects as required.

Minimum Requirements: Graduation from standard High School or GED, Associates Degree in Civil technology preferred, plus at least four years experience in highway construction and maintenance work of which two years were in a lead worker capacity; or any equivalent combination of education and experience which demonstrates possession of the required knowledge, skills, and abilities. Normal hours are 7:00am to 3:00pm, Monday through Friday. Applicants must be available to report back to work during off hours, especially during winter and other emergency events. Must pass complete background check, criminal, driving, and employment records check, along with pre-employment drug testing in order to receive a final offer.

Starting wage between $22.95 and $26.45 per hour, DOE. Health, life, and short-term disability insurance premiums are currently 100% employer paid. Includes paid vacation, sick, & personal leave, and participation in the New Hampshire Retirement System.
